Requirements

Completion of Grade 10 education or equivalent
Valid Class 4 Alberta driver’s license
Clean Driver’s Abstract
Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
Minimum 3 years of consecutive insured winter driving experience
Proficiency with MS word, excel, outlook
CPR / First Aid Certificate

Nice To Haves

1-3 years experience in a retirement community is an asset

Responsibilities

Provide transportation to outings and planned programs that enhance the mind, body and soul of our residents.
Ensure our resident’s health, comfort and safety
Conducts pre-check of bus before each scheduled trip
Ability to drive according to the weather conditions
Responsibilities the during bus trip includes; assisting residents on and off the bus, attendance completed to and from destinations to ensure all residents are accounted for, Storage of walkers and using the lift for wheelchair bound residents, strapping down wheelchairs and walkers during each trip
Model the organizations mission, vision, and values, consistently representing Covenant professionally and positively
Collaborate effectively as a professional team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s Mission, Vision, and Values
