Bus Cleaner
About The Position
Join Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) as a Bus Cleaner and help maintain the cleanliness of its fleet and the overall image of public transit in the Centre Region. The role involves thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of buses, including removing trash, wiping surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and washing windows. Cleaners collaborate with team members to maintain efficient operations and report maintenance issues to a supervisor. The work requires attention to detail, physical stamina, time management, communication skills, and an interest in public service. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Hours worked will be between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Compensation is $18.07 per hour initially, $19.13 per hour in year two, and $21.26 per hour after year two. CATA is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Selected candidates are subject to drug and alcohol testing and a criminal background check.
Requirements

Responsibilities
