About The Position

Perform a variety of duties to burr, blend and polish specific features on aircraft engine parts according to repair instructions. Work from operations sheets, engine manuals and standard practice manuals to perform duties called out in the repair process. Layout abrasives and air guns required for each part or operation. If needed, set-up holding devices such as rotary and hydraulic tables. Operate burr guns of different configurations to bring about dimensions required per repair instructions. Inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, verniers, GO-NOGO gages / pins and visual aids.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read operation sheets.
