About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Burn Table Operator to join our metal production team manufacturing components for generators. The ideal candidate has experience operating burn tables, plasma cutters, or oxy-fuel cutting equipment and can accurately cut and prepare metal parts according to production requirements. If interested, please apply with a resume! This is a 2nd shift position, with training provided on 1st shift. The pay rate is $22 - $26 an hour based on experience. The work schedule is Monday - Thursday, with a willingness to work overtime on Friday and Saturday.
Requirements
- Experience operating burn tables, plasma cutters, or oxy-fuel cutting equipment.
- Ability to accurately cut and prepare metal parts according to production requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate burn table and metal-cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Set up materials and cutting parameters for production.
- Measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintain a clean work area.
- Follow all company safety and PPE requirements.
