Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a skilled Burn Table / CNC Router Table Operator for their 2nd shift. This role is responsible for operating a burn table to cut materials, ensuring quality and precision in the process. Requirements

Prior experience using a burn table to cut materials ¾” to 8-1/2” within a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical schooling.
Basic oral communication skills.
Ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
Ability to complete basic logs and reports in English.
Physically able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components as required.
Ability to work scheduled hours and adhere to company timekeeping and all other policies.
Ability to consistently stand for the entire duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Able to work cooperatively with others and contribute as a team player.
Demonstrates accuracy and reliability in all tasks.

Nice To Haves

Additional welding skills.
Familiarity with grinding tools, drill presses, and ironwork.
General mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading parts onto the burn table.
Adjusting the table settings.
Loading and unloading the cutting torch.
Monitoring the cutting process.
Following process sheets, blueprints, or verbal instructions to complete production tasks accurately.
Maneuvering large or heavy parts manually or with the assistance of a crane or forklift.
Inspecting cuts throughout the process for quality.
Using grinding tools to achieve desired finishes.
Keeping machines and work areas clean.
Adhering to safety protocols.
Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets predetermined tolerances and standards.
Assisting in other areas or departments as assigned to meet production needs.
