The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, people-oriented with strong verbal communication skills, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer focus. The primary purpose of a Customer Service Associate is to directly interact with customers and deliver a fast, fun, and friendly experience while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Onvo is passionate about convenience and dedicated to providing guests with exceptional service that is always quick, kind, and convenient. They welcome candidates with or without prior customer service and hospitality experience.

Requirements

  • Physically capable of standing for long hours.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English language.
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greets every customer in a quick and courteous manner.
  • Provides a pleasant dining experience to all our customers and responds to customer inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Handles all customer complaints according to company policies and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains product knowledge and provides customers with product recommendations.
  • Follows sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies and ordinances.
  • Sustains consistent high quality of food preparation and service.
  • Keeps professional image by maintaining proper uniform and appearance standards.
  • Works effectively with others (individuals and departments) in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner.
  • Helps other associates in their duties and assists new associates in learning their new job skills.
  • Communicates any issues of concerns and ensures all internal matters are presented to GM in a timely manner.
  • General knowledge of all point-of-sale equipment.
  • Processes customer sales accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensures cash drawer levels are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Receives and stocks all merchandise in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensures stock is faced up, clean and presentable at all times.
  • Apply the FIFO (first in first out) system, when receiving or stocking any product.
  • Ensures all damaged and/or out of date stock is removed, accurately recorded and placed in designated quarantine area.
  • Follows portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize loss.
  • Maintains full control of the store and its contents at all times using prevention techniques as per company to minimize loss (i.e. drive offs or retail theft etc).
  • Follows company policies and procedures for securing the premises upon end of day closure.
  • Maintains a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Cleans in accordance with the brands specific sanitary standards including but not limited to: sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls, counters, tables, kitchen and service equipment.
  • Cleans the customer service area by removing trash, cleaning restrooms and the parking lot.
  • Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner to assure workers, customers, suppliers/contractors and the environment are not at risk.
  • Complies with all company safety policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Uses materials handling procedures and equipment provided to minimize contamination or injury.
  • Reports to management any unsafe practice or condition and follows all safety initiatives.
