Bulk Linehaul Driver- Class 1- Winnipeg Based
About The Position
The Kleysen Bulk team is looking for experienced Class 1 professional drivers to join our Winnipeg based fleet. Our Winnipeg Bulk Team works together to haul Dry Bulk goods using B-train pneumatics. Our various runs and assignments consist of regional work as well as interprovincial (between Alberta and northern Ontario). As the work is throughout these areas, we are looking for candidates who can accept long-haul assignments that can be out 11 – 12 days at a time before coming home for a reset. The goods include but are not limited to dry cement products, salt, soda ash, other general dry bulk materials.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with satisfactory abstract.
- Tractor Trailer driving experience.
- Good physical condition.
- Ability to work longer shifts with possible overtime.
- A great attitude and are safety minded and customer service oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Super B experience is an asset.
- Dry or liquid bulk experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Haul Dry Bulk goods using B-train pneumatics.
- Perform regional and interprovincial runs.
- Accept long-haul assignments, potentially being out 11-12 days at a time.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- Wear all standard PPE (safety boots, CSA approved hard hat, safety vest, etc.).
- Maintain a safety-minded and customer service-oriented attitude.
