About The Position

Kleysen’s Bulk team is looking for experienced Class 1 professional drivers to join our Winnipeg based fleet on a six (6) month term contract. The position is an evening shift with hours that are typically 12:00 PM-12:00 AM. Evening shifts are usually 8-12 hour shifts. Our Winnipeg Bulk Team hauls Dry Bulk goods using B-train pneumatics and B-train side tippers. Our various runs and assignments consist of regional work in Winnipeg, and quick daily highway runs within Manitoba and Northern Ontario. We are looking for drivers who can accept occasional highway assignments but still be home daily. The goods include but are not limited to: dry cement products, salt, soda ash, other general dry bulk materials.

Requirements

Class 1 Tractor Trailer driving experience
Satisfactory Abstract
Ability to work longer shifts with possible overtime
Ability to wear all standard PPE (safety boots, CSA approved hard hat, safety vest, etc.)
Clean shaven or a willingness to shave (respirators are mandatory with some customers)
A great attitude and are safety minded and customer service oriented

Nice To Haves

Bulk and Deck experience is an asset, or willingness to be trained
Tractor Trailer driving experience, Super B experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Haul Dry Bulk goods using B-train pneumatics and B-train side tippers.
Perform regional work in Winnipeg.
Complete quick daily highway runs within Manitoba and Northern Ontario.
Accept occasional highway assignments while still being home daily.
Work longer shifts with possible overtime.
Wear all standard PPE (safety boots, CSA approved hard hat, safety vest, etc.).
Be clean shaven or have a willingness to shave (respirators are mandatory with some customers).
