Bulk/Junk Removal Porter & Driver- Full Time! $18-$20/HR

The Bulk Driver is responsible for driving a company vehicle to various locations to pick up and haul away bulk and junk items. This role requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Will need to obtain and maintain DOT Med card
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent physical condition and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the waste management industry is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of local recycling and disposal regulations is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to pick up and transport junk items from residential and commercial properties.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Load and unload items, ensuring they are handled with care to avoid damage to property and items.
- Sort items for recycling, donation, and disposal according to company policies and local regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of company vehicles and equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately, including job logs, inventory sheets, and customer receipts.
- Assist with other duties as assigned, including general maintenance and warehouse tasks.
- Ability to successfully operate a low cab truck with dump body and/or PTO dump bed
- Must be able to work a full day and may be required to drive longer distances (up to 4 hours) if business needs require
