About The Position

As a Building and Grounds Technician with the BCBSWY Building and Grounds Team, you will play an essential role in ensuring best-in-class appearance of our facilities to members, employees, and members of the general public. It is important for a technician to be careful and thorough in working, repairing and maintaining the premises.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.

Minor experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing.

Nice To Haves

0-6 months of progressive work experience (typically in Building and Grounds).

Responsibilities

Maintain and protect facilities.
Ensure the external and internal appearance of the building is well-maintained.
Perform occasional snow removal around doors, sidewalks, and parking lots.
Perform minor repairs related to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
