About The Position

The Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Worker joins the Eastern Slope Inn team to help maintain high-quality facilities, accommodations, and amenities for guests. The role includes landscaping and property upkeep, general maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across buildings and grounds. The employee may travel between buildings on and off property and will follow up with other departments about repair status. Candidates seeking a maintenance career will receive training.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions from a supervisor or senior maintenance workers.
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Time-management and organizational skills.
Pool chemistry knowledge.
Mechanical aptitude.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Valid driver's license.
Availability to work weekdays and/or weekends.
Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.

Responsibilities

Perform landscaping and general property upkeep.
Complete general maintenance needs as assigned.
Remove snow and shovel walkways and roofs.
Perform preventative maintenance for HVAC systems and pool components.
Handle plumbing and painting needs as assigned.
Troubleshoot maintenance problems.
Clean pools and related areas and handle building supplies and other general labor.
Travel between buildings on and off property as necessary.
Perform basic carpentry and other building-related tasks.
Follow up with other departments on the status of repairs.
Work in a clean, professional manner.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
