About The Position

Perform preventative maintenance such as cleaning, greasing/oiling machines, and regular inspections. This role is responsible for the lubrication of corrugating equipment and ensuring the grounds and facility are clean and professional at all times. The position involves using specialized machinery and safety equipment, notifying management of needed repairs, requisitioning supplies, and following up on all work to ensure it is performed properly. Additionally, the role includes light building maintenance tasks like painting, concrete patching, replacing light bulbs, and minor plumbing. The employee must complete all paperwork accurately, work necessary hours and shifts, maintain good housekeeping in work areas, and comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Provide own tools necessary to perform maintenance tasks.
Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.
Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
Working knowledge of product layouts and production specifications.
Working knowledge of product quality specifications.
Working knowledge of quality standards.
May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certification to work in certain areas or on certain equipment.

Responsibilities

Practice safe work habits at all times.
Responsible for the lubrication of corrugating equipment with daily functions.
Use various specialized machinery and safety equipment such as ladders, boom or scissor lift to access high areas.
Ensure the grounds and facility are clean and professional at all times.
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Follow up all work in order to ensure repairs and work are performed properly.
Help with building maintenance such as: painting, concrete patch, lightbulbs replacements, and minor plumbing.
Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.
Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts.
Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Additional duties may be assigned by management.
