About The Position

This position is for Fall 2026, with a start date of August 18th, 2026. The instructor will be responsible for teaching Facilities & Services Technology courses, which may include topics such as HVAC, HVAC Controls, and Electrical Theory and Electrical Lab.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a building utilities mechanic program or a building facilities technology program.
  • Four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience as a building utilities mechanic.
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field.
  • The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
