About The Position

Pioneer Builders Supply, a Division of Pacific Supply, is seeking a motivated Office Intern interested in the Building Supply Industry. This role offers the opportunity to learn various aspects of the business, including Sales, Logistics, Special Projects, and Inventory. The intern will provide customer service, manage orders, and perform general administrative tasks. Pioneer Builders Supply has a legacy dating back to 1953, with over 50 locations, and is known for reliability, quality, and a people-first approach. Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage numerous activities.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Learn various roles and responsibilities including Sales, Logistics, Special Projects, and Inventory.
  • Provide top-tier customer service and follow through on orders and account needs.
  • Partner with branch operations to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth fulfillment.
  • Input orders accurately into the computer system and operate the cash register to finalize transactions.
  • Perform general administrative tasks.
