About The Position

The YMCA of Greater Erie is looking to hire a part-time Building Supervisor at our Downtown YMCA location. This role involves promoting a positive, professional, and welcoming atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and embodying YMCA values. The Building Supervisor will greet members and guests, conduct membership interviews, provide facility tours, respond to member and guest needs, promote and sell memberships and programs, and maintain cleanliness and organization. In the absence of higher-ranking staff, the Building Supervisor acts as the department supervisor, is the primary first responder to security and fire alarms, and is responsible for opening and closing the facility according to protocol. This position also involves performing various maintenance duties.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR Pro (CPR for health care providers and first responders) and First Aid training (for the community and workplace).
• Excellent human relation skills.
• Proficient understanding of facilities maintenance.
• Experience working with the public.
• Patient and able to remain calm when stressed.
