About The Position
This role is for a Building Substitute at MaST II Lawncrest. Substitutes are required to have a valid Pennsylvania educator certificate or an out-of-state certificate. If not certified, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalency) is required. Additionally, background clearances are necessary, along with U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien status. If a candidate possesses a conferred bachelor's degree but lacks the proper certification, they can apply for an emergency permit upon hire, which is valid for one school year for day-to-day substituting.
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania educator certificate or out of state certificate
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalency) if not certified
- Background clearances (Act 34, Act 24, Act 151, Act 114)
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien status (green card)
