About The Position

The Lt. Peter M. Hansen School is looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual to serve as our building substitute for the 2026-27 school year. Qualified candidates will have prior work experience with elementary-aged children, preferably across grades K-5. We are a community that values equity, social-emotional learning, and inclusive access to engaging learning experiences for all students, and as such, candidates should feel comfortable filling in across all grade levels and in a variety of roles within the school.

Requirements

• Prior work experience with elementary-aged children, preferably across grades K-5.
• Comfortable filling in across all grade levels and in a variety of roles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative and cooperative.
• Highly flexible and adaptable.
• Strong ability to problem solve and take initiative.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in education or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a building substitute for the 2026-27 school year.
• Fill in across all grade levels (K-5) and in a variety of roles within the school.
• Provide engaging learning experiences for all students.
• Collaborate and cooperate with school staff.
• Problem solve and take initiative.
