About The Position
Cromwell Public Schools is looking for a Building Sub Paraeducator for Edna C. Stevens. The Building Sub Paraeducator will work with a variety of students with disabilities. This involves supporting students in all aspects of their day and the ability to work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of the special and/or regular education teachers, which may include therapy activities, toileting, lifting, field trips, life skill instruction, and all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal.
Requirements
- Associates degree; 60 college credits; or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support students in all aspects of their day.
- Work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of special and/or regular education teachers.
- Assist with therapy activities, toileting, lifting, and field trips.
- Provide life skill instruction.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal.
