Requirements
- High computer literacy with MS office software and a functional familiarity with building maintenance and monitoring software
- Provide effective oversight and record keeping via the Computerized Maintenance Management System (eMaint) for building components, equipment service contracts, after hours emergency repairs and maintenance
- Physical stamina to sustain bending, lifting, and climbing
- Union membership is a condition of employment.
- AgeCare requires all new employees to produce a clear Vulnerable Record Search prior to starting work.
Nice To Haves
- A post secondary trades certification in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other building trades certification would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing efficient building performances
- Perform regular inspections of the building and its components
- Execute the Preventative, Restorative, Corrective and Capital maintenance program
