About The Position

As a Building Services Technician at JLL, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operational excellence of our client's facility at Mapleview. This hands-on position focuses on ensuring that all building systems function efficiently and reliably, directly contributing to a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for occupants. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service and upholding JLL's standards of excellence in facility management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, Tuesday to Saturday

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification or equivalent trade certification
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Basic knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and workplace safety practices
• Customer service experience in a commercial or corporate environment

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot building equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance needs proactively
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service logs and maintenance reports
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and equipment servicing
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations
• Support emergency response procedures and participate in on-call rotations as needed
