About The Position

Provides maintenance and operating services for County buildings through preventive maintenance, repair and event set up and emergency management system operation. Maintains the building systems for safe and comfortable operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of general maintenance and specialized experience in HVAC, plumbing or electrical.
• Knowledge of A/C, plumbing, electrical and operation of chill water systems and boiler systems.
• Must have knowledge of building operating systems with expertise in one area.
• Valid and current TX driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory and training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the building systems for safe and comfortable operation.
• Repairs and maintains HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Maintains and assists with plumbing repairs and assist with other associated building repairs.
• Works with vendors and contractors.
• May oversee work and ensure that it is properly performed.
• Provides other general building maintenance services.
• Helps move furniture as needed.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
