About The Position

The Building Services Attendant helps ensure a clean, safe shopping experience for customers and a safe work environment for team members. The role involves following health, sanitation, and safety guidelines while cleaning store areas and facilities, responding to spills or other cleanup needs, restocking supplies, and performing basic maintenance. This is an entry-level, part-time hourly position with an estimated pay range of $17–$17.50 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old; no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

Keep the store and departments clean and free of hazards by removing trash, cardboard boxes, and other obstructions.
Clean the sales floor and departments using a floor machine.
Clean and sanitize bathroom facilities daily, including toilets and sinks.
Clean cafeteria counters, tables, and coffee machines daily.
Restock hand soap, paper products, trash liners, and plastic utensils.
Respond to immediate cleanup needs throughout the store.
Perform basic maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs.
Follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations and procedures.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Greet customers in a friendly manner and help create a welcoming shopping experience.
Collaborate with team members and offer assistance where needed.
Represent the store's S.T.E.W. values in interactions with customers and team members.
