About The Position

The Building Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the residential community, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents. This role involves cleaning public spaces, amenity areas, office areas, and vacant apartments to ensure they are move-in ready. The Building Porter also handles small maintenance tasks and assists with seasonal duties. The position is crucial for resident satisfaction and the overall appearance of the property.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

Keep public spaces, amenity areas, and office areas clean—vacuum, mop, dust, and empty trash
Ensure restrooms and high-touch areas are sanitized
Clean and refresh vacant apartments to get them move-in ready
Handle small maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, replacing covers, etc.)
Assist with seasonal tasks like snow removal and sidewalk cleaning
Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues
Keep cleaning tools and supplies organized and in good condition
