Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Class A or B CDL
Clean driving record
Track record of safety-conscious performance
Knowledge of DOT compliance regulations
Safety conscious

Responsibilities

Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values
Safely drive and operate lumber delivery truck
Assume responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of company vehicle
Perform daily pre and post safety checklists on mixer truck prior to and following hauling concrete
Observe and obey all traffic laws in the operation of assigned company vehicle
Record the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) log at the end of each shift
Record all information on each delivery ticket and turn in a signed delivery ticket
Deliver orders/building materials to each customer according the specifications on the delivery ticket
Provide exceptional customer service and team support
Advise management of any customer situations beyond scope of authority
Maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and department of transportation (DOT) medical card
Maintain insurable driving record
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns
Operate equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards
Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.
Perform other duties as required
