About The Position

The Building Maintenance position is critical to ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of commercial or residential properties across the United States. This role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and building cleaning. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge in general repair techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing trades.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural elements to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to ensure optimal operation of building infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruption and maintain safety standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or large-scale maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety protocols and building codes.
• Assist in managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment to ensure availability when needed.
