About The Position
We're seeking qualified candidates for the Building Maintenance Worker position at the Springfield-Branson National Airport. This position performs a variety of indoor and outdoor maintenance duties, including landscape maintenance, mowing, and maintaining the appearance of the airport's public (non-secure) grounds. During the winter months, the employee will also assist the Utility team with light indoor construction and facility maintenance projects.
Requirements
- One year of experience and/or education in performing custodial duties and/or minor maintenance and repair work.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must obtain and maintain a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License with airbrakes within the probationary period for assignment to the Airport.
- Proof of United States Citizenship/Authorization to Work in the United States as established by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 is a condition of employment.
- Pre-employment drug testing is required.
- Must complete the City of Springfield on-line application in its entirety.
- Candidate profile must include all employment history with accurate and complete information prior to submission.
