About The Position
Responsible for maintaining the facility’s operation and cleanliness. The role includes general facility upkeep and performing small repairs and installations. The worker also handles trash removal and cleaning, paints and plasters walls, and serves as the point of contact for contractors. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions using common-sense understanding.
- Ability to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in variable temperature and weather conditions.
- Ability to efficiently operate forklift and scrubber equipment.
- Frequent bending and twisting while performing job functions.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift scrubber certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the facility is functional.
- Perform facility upkeep, including small plumbing tasks, replacing light bulbs, small concrete repairs, small installations, and hanging signs and banners.
- Clean outside the facility and empty trash barrels throughout the facility.
- Mop areas that cannot be reached with scrubber equipment.
- Paint and plaster walls.
- Serve as the point of contact for contractors.
