About The Position

This part-time position with benefits is responsible for performing routine repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles. The role involves groundskeeping, minor plumbing and carpentry repairs, and regular cleaning and sanitization of the building.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Two years of experience in handling minor building and maintenance repairs
Good skill in the use of hand and power tools
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
Ability to perform heavy lifting.
Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects (25-50 lbs.).
Physical ability to "team lift" heavy materials, supplies, and equipment (50-100 lbs.) occasionally.
Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
Work requires driving a vehicle and working outdoors daily with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat, or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
Valid State Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Performs routine grounds keeping work to ensure the beautification of the landscape.
Performs minor plumbing and carpentry repair work.
Regularly cleans the building and sanitizes as necessary.
Performs routine repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
