As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you’ll have the opportunity to be hands-on with building schematics/blueprints, electrical troubleshooting, conveyor systems, building maintenance, hi-speed doors, and more. Our Building Maintenance Techs performs comprehensive maintenance, repairs, and preventative services on all building systems. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Ability to perform basic Preventive Maintenance (PMs) and experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (specifically IBM Maximo).
  • Ability to wire a 480V 3-Phase motor using a standard wiring diagram.
  • Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required
  • Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Previous experience in forklift repair
  • Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
  • Successful passing of drug screen and background check

  • You'll be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
