About The Position

This position is responsible for the electrical maintenance and repair of all production related machinery and equipment. Associates will operate, maintain & fix all production equipment associated within the department to prevent and/or correct mechanical & electrical breakdowns following strict product safety & quality standards. They will also operate, maintain, and fix site utilities (CO2, LN2, CDA and O2). The role involves electrical/electronic troubleshooting in a manufacturing plant and requires a background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, and computer systems. Individuals will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to communicate effectively. This role also involves supplying improvement ideas & suggestions to help continue the success of the plant. Associates will have the ability & initiative to lead & participate in plant problem-solving teams, apply problem-solving techniques, communicate efficiently, and demonstrate leadership & plan effectively.

Requirements

  • Electrical/electronic repair in a manufacturing plant.
  • Strong knowledge working with PLCs.
  • Instrumentation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration.
  • Background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer systems.
  • Knowledge of & capable of performing special technical skills (electrical troubleshooting, basic PLC skills, machining, welding tasks, high pressure gases).
  • Knowledge of electrical installation & construction, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics systems.
  • 3 years (Three 12-month periods) maintenance related experience, including a minimum of 1500 hours of on-the-job experience.
  • Experience with Windows based PCs.
  • Experienced to repair heating equipment, fix gas-fired equipment and calibrate all gas-related controls.
  • Expertise with PLCs: instrumentation, repair and calibration.
  • Background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer systems.
