About The Position

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and five-star appearance of the exterior portions of buildings at Blackberry Farm. Work is primarily assigned across building interiors and exteriors, common areas, grounds, and trails, though the work location may vary throughout the property. The role requires regular and consistent attendance, compliance with company policies and procedures, and effective interaction with team members, managers, and guests. No supervisory responsibilities are assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to communicate clearly with management, team members, and guests.
Basic math knowledge and understanding.
Ability to think creatively and implement interim measures to minimize downtime.
Ability to troubleshoot various systems to repair them and reduce downtime for guests and employees.
Ability to exercise good judgment and make appropriate decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors regardless of temperature or weather.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Ability to work well with team members and managers and interact with guests.
Ability to safely operate a golf cart and/or company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Pressure wash exterior areas.
Clean interior and exterior windows.
Perform minimal painting.
Repair fences.
Clean rooftops and gutters.
Remove cobwebs from building exteriors.
Apply mold and mildew treatments as needed.
Perform general maintenance.
Troubleshoot systems and take interim measures to minimize downtime of essential services.
Operate a golf cart and/or company vehicle safely.
