About The Position

Eldora is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician Level 3 to perform skilled building maintenance, repair, and operational support for resort buildings and facilities. This role requires a strong working knowledge of building systems, the ability to complete more complex maintenance tasks with limited supervision, and the judgment to identify issues, communicate needs, and support safe daily operations. The position works within the Base Operations department on the Building Maintenance team and may assist with project coordination, parts needs, and training support while continuing to build toward senior technician responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Must be organized, dependable, and able to manage assigned work with limited supervision while communicating priorities, delays, and resource needs.
  • Comfortable using work order, purchasing, email, and Microsoft Office systems to document work, research parts, and communicate updates.
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment, safe work habits, and the ability to support less-experienced technicians without serving as the primary lead for the crew.
  • Must have a valid US Driver’s License and complete an MVR check to company standards.
  • Minimum age 18 years old to drive company vehicles.
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with building maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, doors, hardware, fixtures, finishes, and general facility repairs.
  • Proficiency with safe operation of common maintenance, grounds, snow removal, and shop equipment used in daily resort operations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot routine and moderately complex building issues and determine when to escalate work to a supervisor, senior technician, or contractor.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting small maintenance projects, seasonal building preparation, preventative maintenance, and guest-facing operational repairs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete skilled maintenance and repair tasks across resort buildings, including plumbing, carpentry, doors, fixtures, building finishes, and general facility repairs.
  • Troubleshoot building maintenance issues, identify repair needs, and communicate recommended next steps to the supervisor or senior technician.
  • Perform assigned work orders and small projects safely, efficiently, and with limited supervision while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assist with planning and execution of maintenance projects by helping gather materials, track task progress, and communicate updates.
  • Support department inventory by identifying parts, materials, and supply needs and communicating those needs before work is delayed.
  • Work professionally with vendors, contractors, coworkers, and other departments while representing the Building Maintenance team.
  • Model safe work practices, maintain clean work areas, and assist less-experienced technicians when appropriate.
  • Work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
