About The Position

NFM’s Building Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining building, grounds, and equipment to ensure the business operates efficiently. This role offers multiple opportunities to utilize various skills within a world-class facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year building maintenance, custodial, general or labor experience
• Technical or trade school classes in related field
• Basic carpentry skills and electrical knowledge preferred
• Painting skills and plumbing knowledge preferred
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Replace lights and ballasts in fluorescent fixtures while upgrading to higher efficiency retrofit.
• Perform lawn care including mowing, trimming, edging, and racking, as well as landscaping, snow removal, and ice treatment.
• Paint, patch, and caulk building structures, rooms, and equipment.
• Effectively complete work orders and enter job notes.
• Maintain mechanical rooms and equipment.
