Building Maintenance Technician / Engineer (PM Shift)
About The Position
This role involves performing all technical and non-technical repairs for buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electrically powered motors and devices, H.V.A.C. systems (including refrigeration), minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and minor automotive repairs. The technician will complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently, maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Key functions include technical electrical motor troubleshooting and repair, H.V.A.C. and refrigeration troubleshooting and repair, technical plumbing troubleshooting and repair, minor carpentry, safely filling propane tanks, door lock repairs, ensuring all work areas are left safe and clean, safe use of all power tools, gas-fired equipment repair, and troubleshooting/repair of electronic equipment including office and audio-visual equipment. The position requires responding to guest requests within fifteen minutes and to all emergency or life-threatening situations, while following established safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year hands on experience with electrical motors, H.V.A.C. systems, and refrigeration systems.
- Must be familiar with troubleshooting and/or repairs of such.
- Experience with power tools use and safety.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality experience preferred.
Responsibilities

- Use of all power tools safely, including pressure washers and compressors.
- Gas fired equipment repair.
- Troubleshooting and/or repair of electronic equipment to include all office and audio visual equipment.
- Respond to all Guest Requests within fifteen-minutes of notification.
- Respond to all emergency or life threatening situations.
- Follow established safety procedures.
