The Port of Portland is hiring for a PDX Building Maintenance Mechanic (Swing Shift). The PDX Building Maintenance Mechanic will provide skilled labor to maintain PDX Mechanical Systems throughout the Port’s facilities. This role will participate in training as identified by PDX Management required to support maintenance activities to Port Aviation facilities. Maintaining and keep current on all certifications, licenses and skills to discharge the duties of this position is also necessary. Hours are set by seniority shift bid per the labor agreement. Shifts are set for 4/10s. The successful candidate must be available to work swing shift (1600-0230). Most likely, the successful candidate will work a swing shift: Wednesday - Saturday. This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
