About The Position
Looking for a Part-Time Seasonal Job? A Seasonal Building and Grounds Maintenance position is now available. This role is located at 2101 W 6th St Emporia, KS 66801. The team is focused on making an impact on a meaningful scale, with a strong emphasis on safety. All Team Members are expected to practice safety standards, policies, and procedures, and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. Candidates will be considered for seasonal building maintenance type openings on the day shift.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Application/Resume must show at least 12 months of work experience in at least one (2) of the following
- Must be able and willing to read, write and interpret equipment manuals and technical instructions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able and willing to operate gasoline powered lawncare equipment including riding mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and brush cutters
- Must be able and willing to drive a pickup truck and have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members including leadership
- Willing and able to bend, kneel, twist, reach, and move around the property and work around moving machinery
- Willing and able to perform tasks requiring lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 70 pounds
Responsibilities
- Custodial type work such as, cleaning common areas both indoor and outdoors
- Pulling weeds
- Landscaping
- Operating industrial powered equipment
- Rigging
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
