About The Position

This is a Part-Time Seasonal Building and Grounds Maintenance position. The job location is 2101 W 6th St Emporia, KS 66801. The role focuses on making an impact on a meaningful scale by ensuring safety standards, policies, and procedures are followed. Candidates will be considered for seasonal building maintenance type openings on the day shift. The seasonal work will end in October.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred
Application/Resume must show at least 12 months of work experience in at least one (2) of the following
Must be able and willing to read, write and interpret equipment manuals and technical instructions where required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able and willing to operate gasoline powered lawncare equipment including riding mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and brush cutters
Must be able and willing to drive a pickup truck and have a valid driver’s license
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members including leadership
Willing and able to bend, kneel, twist, reach, and move around the property and work around moving machinery
Willing and able to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds
Perform tasks indoors and outdoors
Work in temperatures up to 95 degrees or higher during summer months
May require standing up to 10 hours per day
