As a Building Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of building systems at a specified location. This includes handling HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process controls, property equipment, and more. Your expertise will be crucial in keeping our facilities running efficiently and safely.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of experience in a related field.
Clean driver’s license.
Ability to respond to emergency alarms for fire and security during both regular business hours and after hours.

Nice To Haves

Third grade engineer license.
Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT) designation or equivalent.
Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) designation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform routine operational maintenance on equipment, including start-up and shutdown procedures.
Evaluate and resolve any arising problems, with assistance and/or supervision as needed.
Conduct lighting inspections, manage inventory of bulbs, change bulbs, and request assistance for ballast replacements.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and miscellaneous issues.
Respond to maintenance duties/work orders as they occur on the premises.
Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment as assigned.
Demonstrate on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis and assist in storm preparation.
