About The Position

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking a Janitor for a 9-story apartment building that includes a three-level parking garage in Northbrook, IL 60062. The role involves cleaning and general maintenance of common areas, trash collection, and other related duties.

Requirements

• Must have two valid forms of ID.
• Bilingual (Speak English and Spanish).
• Commercial and/or Residential cleaning experience.
• Must be able to start working as soon as possible.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and general maintenance of common areas including: the atrium, lobby, leasing office, media room, computer room, golf simulator room, conference room, fitness room, coffee bar, community room, elevators, elevator lobbies, stairwells, restrooms, and two outdoor areas (one with a pool and the other with a putting green).
• Collecting trash from trash closets on each floor and from the parking garage.
• Cleaning up the dog park.
• Following instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
• Performing other job-related duties as required.
