About The Position

Bureau Veritas is seeking a fully certified ICC professional to perform building inspections and also build trust, strengthen partnerships, and help grow their presence across South Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, connecting with people, understands the challenges faced by contractors and municipalities, desires autonomy, and is energized by relationship-building and community impact. The position involves conducting residential and commercial combination inspections, reviewing projects for compliance with ICC codes and local ordinances, interpreting and communicating code requirements, documenting findings, and serving as a technical resource. A key aspect of this role is to expand relationships and identify opportunities in the Spartanburg market and surrounding region by building relationships with municipal leaders, contractors, developers, architects, and engineers, supporting client retention and growth, identifying opportunities for expanded services, representing Bureau Veritas at events, and strengthening the company's reputation.

Requirements

  • Fully certified ICC professional
  • ICC Residential Combination Inspector Certification
  • ICC Commercial Combination Inspector Certification
  • Experience performing code inspections in municipal or third-party environments
  • Strong understanding of ICC codes and code enforcement practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities
