About The Position

Bureau Veritas is seeking a fully certified ICC professional to perform high-level inspections, review projects for compliance with applicable ICC codes and local ordinances, interpret and communicate code requirements, document findings, and maintain accurate inspection records. This role also involves serving as a trusted technical resource for contractors, developers, and municipalities. Additionally, the position requires actively growing relationships and identifying opportunities in the Augusta market and surrounding region, supporting client retention and growth, representing Bureau Veritas at meetings and industry events, and strengthening the company's reputation as a trusted partner in building safety.

Requirements

  • ICC Residential Combination Inspector Certification
  • ICC Commercial Combination Inspector Certification
  • Experience performing code inspections in municipal or third-party environments
  • Strong understanding of ICC codes and code enforcement practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Conduct residential and commercial combination inspections
  • Review projects for compliance with applicable ICC codes and local ordinances
  • Interpret and communicate code requirements clearly and professionally
  • Document findings and maintain accurate inspection records
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource for contractors, developers, and municipalities
  • Build relationships with municipal leaders, contractors, developers, architects, and engineers
  • Support client retention and growth initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for expanded services
  • Represent Bureau Veritas at meetings, industry events, and within the community
  • Help strengthen our reputation as a trusted partner in building safety
