About The Position
Bureau Veritas is seeking a fully certified ICC professional to perform high-level inspections and build trust, strengthen partnerships, and help grow their presence across South Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys field work, connecting with people, understanding the challenges faced by contractors and municipalities, and desires autonomy and visibility. The position involves performing residential and commercial combination inspections, reviewing projects for compliance with ICC codes and local ordinances, interpreting and communicating code requirements, documenting findings, and serving as a technical resource. Additionally, the role focuses on business development, including building relationships with municipal leaders, contractors, developers, architects, and engineers, supporting client retention and growth, identifying opportunities for expanded services, and representing Bureau Veritas at industry events.
Requirements
- ICC Residential Combination Inspector Certification
- ICC Commercial Combination Inspector Certification
- Experience performing code inspections in municipal or third-party environments
- Strong understanding of ICC codes and code enforcement practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities
- Perform High-Level Inspections
- Conduct residential and commercial combination inspections
- Review projects for compliance with applicable ICC codes and local ordinances

- Document findings and maintain accurate inspection records
- Serve as a trusted technical resource for contractors, developers, and municipalities

- Represent Bureau Veritas at meetings, industry events, and within the community
