About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing building inspection activities and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. The Building Inspector Site Manager will manage a team of inspectors, review inspection reports, and coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 12 months of experience in building inspection or a related field.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Ability to read and interpret complex building plans, specifications, and codes.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in relevant software and technology for inspection and reporting.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a supervisory or management role.
Relevant certifications in building inspection (e.g., ICC certifications).
Additional training or education in construction management or a related field.
