The Building Facility Manager (BFM) is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and stewardship of assigned facilities, infrastructure, and building systems. The BFM serves as the primary point of contact for facility operations, maintenance planning, tenant support, construction coordination, and infrastructure reliability. This position manages facilities and associated infrastructure throughout their lifecycle and works closely with operations personnel, maintenance organizations, engineers, contractors, tenants, and management to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant, and mission ready. Assigned facilities may include office, industrial, laboratory, utility, nuclear support, and/or other specialized facilities. The BFM functions as the facility landlord and is responsible for implementing tenant use agreements, coordinating maintenance activities, supporting infrastructure projects, and ensuring facility systems operate in accordance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
