About The Position

LC State invites applications for the position of Building Facility Maintenance Foreman. Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $20.19 - $22.42 per hour. This position works in the residence halls and rental houses on a college campus. There will be travel between buildings throughout the day in a work-provided vehicle. This position works closely with Lead Custodians, Residence Life Office staff, and Physical Plant staff, and communicates with each daily, and will also work independently throughout the day. Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Some knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Some knowledge of heating and cooling system maintenance and repair.
• Experience performing semi-skilled maintenance and repair involving general building-related trades work.
• Experience using and maintaining hand and power tools normally associated with carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working on a college campus or an apartment/rental complex.
• Associate's degree in a related field.
