Our Building Envelope team provides consulting services to architects, building owners, and developers for new and existing buildings. Our suite of specialists help solve complex design challenges, improve constructability, maximize energy efficiency, and repair and rehabilitate existing systems. We offer a range of services over the full building life cycle to help clients execute ambitious visions to design, build, and maintain their properties. Our consulting services include materials research, specialty analyses, detailed design, engineering and construction support, as well as condition assessments, investigations, and restoration. As a Building Envelope Intern in our Restoration & Renewal Practice, you will gain hands-on experience evaluating and improving the performance of building envelopes and interior systems for a variety of restoration, renovation and adaptive reuse projects. You will work alongside experienced architects and engineers in a dynamic, collaborative environment, learning practical solutions. This Co-Op is for Spring 2027.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Architecture.
  • Strong academic record and interest in building performance, envelope design, and renovation projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or architectural detailing tools is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in field inspections and data collection for building envelopes and architectural systems.
  • Support assessments of system performance, code compliance and feasibility studies for renovations, and restoration design.
  • Help prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications and reports for project teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, constructible solutions.
