About The Position

Jesuit High School is seeking a Building Services Engineer to ensure campus buildings meet the needs of staff and students. This role involves the implementation and maintenance of all building systems, including mechanical (HVAC and other), electrical, and plumbing, as well as fire and security alarms. Key responsibilities include managing the campus Building Automation System (BAS) and utility services, scheduling and coordinating special events, and assisting in Operation and Capital Projects. This position shares tasks with the Plant and Operations Managers and reports to the Director of Institutional Planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant trade certification
• Construction and/or Maintenance project management experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical skills
• Working knowledge of critical computer software (Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet Search Engines, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Minimum three-years of experience in related fields
• Certification as Electrical and/or Mechanical Technician or equivalent
• Experience with Access Controls, CCTV, and Lighting Controls
• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Facilities Maintenance, Construction Management, or equivalent
