About The Position

Assists in preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, heaters, ice-makers, air compressors, pneumatic controls, chilled water heating and cooling and electrical air conditioning and heating systems. Repairs building electrical systems. Services exposed water, gas, and sewer systems; checks building security and fire alarm. Performs minor service and maintenance on chemical water treating systems. May be required to work nights or weekends.

Requirements

• Graduate of a vocational or technical training school with training in: refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical, mechanical or plumbing.
• Six months experience in one of the associated trades in the maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
• Ability to understand and implement oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to perform strenuous work requiring lifting weights up to 50 pounds, crawling, overhead work, kneeling, walking, and being on feet for extended periods of time.
• Possession of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of standard high school or equivalent.
• Twelve months of work experience in one of the associated trades in the maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
