About The Position

The Planning and Design Department of Patterson Dental's Montreal branch is recognized for its expertise in the design and layout of dental clinics. Thanks to the talent, creativity and experience of our team, we carry out innovative projects that combine ergonomics, functionality and design to meet the needs of our customers. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in the design and implementation of dental clinic development projects, from the development of plans to the coordination of the various stakeholders.

Requirements

A degree in architectural technology, building drafting, or a related field.
An excellent command of AutoCAD (ArchiCAD is an asset) as well as an interest in learning new software, ArchiCAD being our main work tool.
Read and interpret plans and specifications.
Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
Rigorous person with a great sense of organization.
Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
Excellent command of French, both oral and written.
Good knowledge of English, both oral and written, in order to communicate with our English-speaking clientele, if necessary.

Knowledge of the dental industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

Design and produce technical plans for construction and layout.
Realize concepts and 3D models.
Analyze project standards and codes.
Review manufacturers' technical sheets, specifications and specifications.
Advise sales representatives in the selection and integration of dental equipment.
Coordinate information with architects, engineers, contractors and other consultants.
Analyze and approve shop drawings.
Offer quality customer service and follow up with the various stakeholders.
Collaborate with the various departments to ensure the success of projects.
Perform any other related tasks.
