About The Position

The Building Custodian shall perform all tasks related to the day-to-day duties in maintenance, repairs, and preservation of all buildings, grounds, and company offices.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain an excellent NYS Driver’s License.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with custodial, building maintenance or general repair.
• Must have experience with sludge, snow, and non-hazardous waste removal.
• Must have experience with the proper operation of a variety of hand power tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily building equipment repairs, carpentry, painting, wallpapering, installing windows and doors, building modules and partitions, and all other building repairs and maintenance.
• Responsible for clearing, preparing, and cleaning up work area.
• Responsible for performing proper usage of tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Responsible for utilizing heavy machinery and motorized equipment such as Bob Cat, forklifts, ladders, garbage trucks, etc.
